Janurary
Tartan crew competed at the annual Pittsburgh Indoor Sprints. Novice got their first experience of a real erg race and varsity got a chance to best personal records. Now athletes head back to Skibo gym to continue winter training. The next competetition will be the Midwest Indoor Rowing Championships in Columbus at the end of Feburary.
December
CMU crew is currently at home on break, hopefully slaving away in basements and gyms around the country in order to be ready to return stronger than ever. All individuals are expected to log a certain amount of aerobic training over the duration of winter break with the intention to be fighting fit come indoor race season. The next training benchmark will be the Pittsburgh Indoor Sprints Indoor Regatta on the 28th of January.
